New app to streamline MVIS data - Australasian Paint & Panel

Streamlining MVIS Data with New App

Solera Autodata and Digidentity have launched the first complete MVIS-compliant solution for independent workshops in Australia.

This integration enables access to data for hybrid and EV vehicles in an efficient and compliant manner, as required by the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Scheme (MVIS).

Solera Autodata and Digidentity streamline compliance through the Autodata Workshop Application and Digidentity Wallet app.

MVIS is about access to data but also about safety-critical data being accessed in a controlled manner.

According to Chris Iacovou, managing director APAC at Solera Autodata, their partnership with Digidentity ensures efficient and controlled access to safety-critical data.

Garage owners can register their businesses, invite technicians to verify their identity and qualifications, and access to restricted content is then enabled.

Author's summary: New app streamlines MVIS data for Australian workshops.
