BPS Suspends Mail to US, Canada
The Barbados Postal Service (BPS) has suspended mail services to the United States and its dependencies, extending disruptions to Canada.
Postmaster General, Joanne Busby, confirmed that all Universal Postal Union (UPU) mail services to the United States, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands have been temporarily halted, effective Wednesday, September 24.
This decision is due to challenges from shifting Customs and labour conditions abroad affecting international postal operations.
