Sheriffs Shut Down Lethbridge Drug House
Alberta Sheriffs have closed a problem property due to excessive criminal activity, which prompted over 60 calls to police since 2021.
The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit obtained a court order against the property owner of 1025 12 Street South.
- The property will be closed for 90 days, starting in October.
- All individuals, including the property owner, must vacate the premises.
- A community safety order prohibits certain individuals from accessing the property.
Government officials will board up, fence, and change the locks on the property.
