Jalen Hurts' Halloween Costume
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts went viral with his Halloween costume this year.
Initially, NFL fans thought he dressed up as the Mr. Johnson character from the ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary, but he actually dressed up as God from the movie Bruce Almighty, played by Morgan Freeman.
Morgan Freeman as God in Bruce Almighty is one of the most iconic parts of the latter stages of his career.
Bruce Almighty, starring Jim Carrey, tells the story of a regular man who is granted the gifts and power of God to see that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
Jalen Hurts' costume was inspired by Morgan Freeman's janitor look from the film, which caused temporary confusion with the Mr. Johnson character.
