Sarawak Launches EXPRT Module
Sarawak has launched the Expatriate Platform for Recruitment & Talent (EXPRT) module, a new online system to simplify expatriate employment pass applications.
Following the success of SANSOLS, which reduced processing times by 70% and shortened approval periods from 197 to 61 days, the EXPRT module aims to further streamline the process.
The initiative reflects the state’s push toward digital governance, improved service efficiency, and sustainable economic growth under the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.
The launch event at Hilton Hotel Kuching was attended by over 180 industry representatives and senior officials, including YBhg and Datuk Gerawat Gala, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department.
