A twin-engine plane crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, resulting in the deaths of two people and a fire that damaged at least ten semi-trucks.
The plane, identified as a King Air Twin Engine Aircraft, departed from Alliance Airport and crashed in the 12700 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale, at approximately 1:30 p.m.
The fire was brought under control within 35 minutes, at 2:11 p.m., with the response of 10 firetrucks, 14 support vehicles, and three ambulances.
