Alleged Motive for Killing Husband Revealed
New details have emerged about the alleged motive behind an 82-year-old woman shooting and killing her husband at an assisted living facility in South Carolina.
Harriet Kay Recker, 82, is accused of shooting and killing her 81-year-old husband, Dennis Recker, at the Preston Health Center on Hilton Head Island. She is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
A judge has found probable cause in the case, sending it to a grand jury. Investigators believe the motive was revealed in a note, which stated "too much for me".
