The sudden retirement of Za’Darius Smith, who had 1.5 sacks in five games, further weakens the Eagles' EDGE group ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
The current healthy EDGE rushers, including Jalyx Hunt, Joshua Uche, Azeez Ojulari, and Patrick Johnson, have collectively managed just one sack this season, courtesy of Johnson in the loss to the Giants.
