Measles Outbreak in Minnesota
Two more measles cases have been confirmed in Minnesota, bringing the state's total to 20, with 18 of the cases being in children.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 15 of the 20 cases were from exposures within the United States, 4 were imported cases, and 1 case-patient has an unknown exposure.

The children likely contracted measles from an unvaccinated adult.
In contrast to last year's 70 measles cases, Minnesota reported 0 cases in 2023 before the recent outbreak.
A large ongoing measles outbreak in Mexico has resulted in 22 deaths, with 4,879 confirmed cases reported through October 11.
