Update: Power Outage in Downtown Okotoks
An unplanned power outage occurred in Okotoks on Tuesday, affecting a large part of the town.
The outage started just before 12:30 p.m. and was visible on the Fortis Alberta map as separate outages on the north and south ends of town.
Power was restored to the north side of town at approximately 12:50 p.m., however, the outage continued on the south side according to the Fortis map.
The OkotoksOnline content team will provide updates as more information becomes available.
