Cesc Fabregas' Suggestion for Martin Odegaard's Replacement
Cesc Fabregas has suggested that Leandro Trossard should replace the injured Martin Odegaard at Arsenal.
Martin Odegaard, the Norway international and Arsenal captain, has suffered an MCL injury, which will keep him out of action until after the November international break.
Odegaard has had a challenging start to the season, with injuries to his shoulder and knee, in addition to an ankle injury at the beginning of the 2024/25 season that kept him out for around two months.
Cesc Fabregas, who knows a thing or two about playing as a number 10, urged the Arsenal manager to use Leandro Trossard in that role.
However, using Leandro Trossard as a replacement for Odegaard might not be the best solution, considering the team's need for a like-for-like replacement.
Arsenal's lack of depth in their squad last term was a significant issue, with Ethan Nwaneri being the only similar replacement at the time.
