A Spearfish woman, Nova Collins, 56, has been indicted on four felony counts and one misdemeanor count for falsifying investigative reports while working at the South Dakota Department of Social Services' Child Protective Services.
The indictment, announced by Attorney General Marty Jackley, relates to a child abuse investigation and crimes committed in early 2025.
Falsifying official documents related to an investigation undermines public trust. As Attorney General, I will continue to hold individuals accountable for such crimes.
