Samsung and Google are set to unveil their new Android Extended Reality (XR) headset on October 21st, at the Galaxy Unpacked event titled "Worlds Wide Open".
Codenamed Project Moohan, the headset has been co-developed with Google and Qualcomm, and is described as the "first product built for the open and scalable Android XR platform", aiming to blend "everyday utility with immersive new experiences".
Samsung says that the Android XR headset is "A New Era of Multimodal AI", with the headset designed to "scale across form factors, bringing AI to the center of immersive, everyday experiences".
