Ethiopia Launches AI-Powered Digital X-ray for TB Screening
Ethiopia has introduced a national artificial intelligence-powered digital X-ray system for tuberculosis (TB) screening, a significant step in combating the disease.
Ethiopia is one of the first countries in Africa to adopt and implement this new innovation at such a large scale.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) in Ethiopia supported the training of 75 healthcare workers to operate the machines and ensure diagnosis and care linkage.
