Authorities believe human skeletal remains found last week are those of Chance Englebert, a Wyoming man missing since July 6, 2019.
Englebert was last seen on Saturday at about 7:30 p.m., according to his wife, Baylee Englebert. The Gering Police Department and over 16 agencies searched for him, including the North Platte River and local railroad tracks.
The search efforts were extensive, with searchers working in a grid pattern until 8 p.m. on Monday and resuming on Tuesday morning.
