Woman Arrested on Suspicion of Murder After Two Children Found Dead
Police were called to a home in Stafford at around 7:30am on Sunday morning by the West Midlands Ambulance Service, where two children were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 43-year-old woman from the Stafford area has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.
Detective Inspector Kirsty Oldfield urged the public not to speculate about the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the two children in Stafford.
The next of kin of the children have been informed and are receiving support from specially-trained officers during this difficult time, according to Staffordshire Police.
