NDLEA Arrests Businessman at Kano Airport

A 52-year-old businessman, Ejiofor Emeka, was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano.

He was found to have concealed 127 wraps of cocaine in his body, which were recovered after several days of observation.

The suspect was taken into NDLEA custody upon his arrival from Bangkok, Thailand via Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 941.

According to Femi Babafemi, the spokesman of the anti-narcotics agency, Ejiofor operates boutiques in Lagos and Onitsha, Anambra state.

The arrest was made possible by credible intelligence, leading to the recovery of the concealed cocaine.
