GU Students Approve Referendums on Student Life and Arts Funding
Georgetown University undergraduate students voted on October 26 to approve two referendums.
The referendums called on the university to prioritize arts funding and reform policies on amplified noise violations.
- The STAGE Act, on arts funding, passed with 82.3% of the vote (2,396 students).
- The Restore Student Life Act passed with 88.5% of the vote (2,533 students).
A total of 2,912 and 2,862 students voted on each referendum, respectively, surpassing the required 25% turnout threshold.
