Tens of thousands of people were forced to take shelter on Saturday evening as a storm hit Salt Lake City, resulting in the cancellation of the RedWest music festival.
The festival, held at the Utah State Fairpark, was in its second of three days, with Post Malone scheduled to headline Saturday night, following Kacey Musgraves on Friday and preceding Noah Kahan on Sunday.
“From the bathrooms, to the tents... now we’re in this random building," said Alan Scott from Idaho. "Luckily these nice people let us in.
People without nearby cars took shelter in buses and nearby businesses.
