Quantum Information Science Funding
Two University of Bristol scientists have been awarded over £2 million to collaborate with US researchers on Quantum Information Science projects.
The funding, awarded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the US National Science Foundation (NSF), will support projects on drug design, solar cell technologies, and quantum sensing.
The projects aim to contribute to quantum-enabled chemical simulation, enhanced control over chemical reactivity, and new methods to manipulate and control electron spin in single organic molecules.
