The speech will take place at the beginning of the Faculty Senate meeting, where Benson will discuss his vision for the university's future.
“Bold futures start here. Where pride runs deep, success is earned, and life-changing experiences prepare Mountaineers to lead in West Virginia and the world. Let’s go!”
In his 12 weeks on the job, Benson has traveled dozens of West Virginia counties as part of his “Welcome Home” tour and released the university's new mission statement.
