Although threats from predators are rare today, daily life is filled with demands that can cause stress, such as taking on a large project at work, managing household bills, or caring for family members.

Your body treats these everyday tasks the same way your body would treat physical threats: you may feel as if you're under attack and don’t have any way to escape.

However, with awareness, it is possible to manage stress and not let it control one's life.
