Taconic Volleyball Sweeps Monument Mountain
Taconic volleyball continued their quest for a state tournament berth with a home sweep of Monument Mountain on Monday night.
The Thunder won the sets 25-9, 25-15, 25-22, led by Ella Stodden's 26 assists. Stodden had achieved her 1,000th assist on Friday night in the sweep of Pittsfield.
"Tonight's win was so important as we fight for the right to play in the state tournament," wrote coach Lancy Fyfe.
Coach Fyfe emphasized the importance of winning at least two more times, with upcoming matches against Southwick and in the Western Mass. tournament next week.
