Limp Bizkit’s classic single "Break Stuff" has topped the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart following the tragic passing of bassist Sam Rivers.
Rivers died of an apparent cardiac arrest at the age of 48, leading to a significant streaming boost of Limp Bizkit’s music catalog. "Break Stuff" earned 3.7 million official US streams, as well as increased radio play and sales, placing it at No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs tally.
Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst paid tribute to Rivers in an emotional video post on social media.
