YouTube Down for More Than a Hundred Thousand Users
YouTube experienced a major outage recently, with thousands reporting issues. At its peak, 366,172 users in the U.S. had reported issues with YouTube, according to Downdetector.
Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources, and it reported that more than 200,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 4:36 p.m. PT. Nearly 300,000 users had reported a problem with YouTube, and over 600,000 users have reported a problem with the platform.
YouTube says that it has fixed an issue affecting video streaming services for users Wednesday afternoon.
