Colonie Police: Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Man
Ronita Roberts, 44, was arrested after Colonie Police say she allegedly stabbed a man twice in the back at the Econo Lodge Inn and Suites on Central Avenue Saturday, October 11.
Police say the victim was not known to Roberts and that he is expected to make a full recovery. They also say the victim did not disclose a motive for the stabbing.
Colonie Police say Roberts was found shortly after the alleged assault by New York State troopers walking in the area of Central Avenue and was taken into custody.
The knife allegedly used in the attack was found by Colonie Police at the Days Inn Hotel, police said.
No motive for the stabbing was disclosed by the victim.
